What we do, and exactly where each part stands.
Next Genesis Ministries runs one program for young adults, the Start-Up Cohort (in development, open to all), and continues the church and ministry support it has offered since 2019. Faith and stewardship are part of our ministry and kept separate from the Start-Up Cohort.
The Start-Up Cohort
A small-cohort program that helps young adults in Tampa Bay turn an idea into a business and build the money habits to sustain it.
In 2026–27, Next Genesis Ministries adds the Start-Up Cohort, carrying out the entrepreneurship purpose in its 2019 charter. Cohort dates are posted here when scheduled. “Start-Up Cohort” is a working name.
Open to all. There is no religious requirement, and no religious instruction or worship in program sessions.

- Comfort using AI tools safely
- Follow-up at three and six months
We will publish results here, with dates, after the first cohort. We publish no numbers before they exist.
Curriculum
Built on free, established curricula for young adults on money and enterprise. We name each source here once the curriculum is final and in use.

Enrollment opens when cohort dates are set. Questions, or know a young adult who would benefit? Email tabitha@nextgenesis.org.

Church & ministry support
Since 2019, Next Genesis Ministries has supported local churches and ministries in Tampa.
Our members also serve in person, roughly once a month, alongside an independent local ministry that serves people experiencing homelessness. That ministry is a separate organization; we support it and serve with it, and its work and results are its own.
We do not name a church or ministry partner on this site without its written consent. How recipients are chosen will be published here once the board adopts its written grant policy.

Faith & stewardship
We are a ministry. Faith is the reason we serve, and stewardship is how we try to serve well.
Bible education and teaching on stewardship are part of our ministry. They are separate in time, place and budget from the Start-Up Cohort, and participation is always voluntary.
We will describe the format and schedule here once they are set.
