Our mission

A genesis is a beginning. We help young people make theirs.

“Next Genesis Ministries educates, motivates and encourages youth and young adults in Tampa Bay to build enterprises and financial independence.”

Our 2019 charter states the purpose plainly: to educate, motivate and encourage youth and young adults about entrepreneurship. Everything we build carries that purpose forward, alongside the church and ministry support we have offered since our first year.

What we do

One program for young adults. One ministry we have kept since 2019.

We say exactly where each one stands, because a funder, a parent or a pastor should never have to guess.

The Start-Up Cohort

A small-cohort program for young adults ages 18–24: idea to customer, budget, pitch, banking and credit, and AI tools used safely. Open to all. Cohort dates are posted here when scheduled.

Church & ministry support

Faith & stewardship

Faith is who we are. Bible education and stewardship are part of our ministry, kept separate in time and place from the Start-Up Cohort.

About our ministry
Why small works

Small on purpose. Built so support reaches the work.

We do not compete on budget size. We compete on what support does when it reaches the work.

i.

Volunteer-run

No employees and no salaries. Our directors give their time, so overhead stays close to zero.

ii.

Present in person

Our members serve in person alongside the ministries we support, not only by check.

iii.

AI for the paperwork

AI tools handle research, drafting and records, work a small organization would otherwise need paid staff for. A human verifies and signs everything.
